Endocrine-disrupting chemicals are substances from polluted environment, food and consumer products that interfere with hormone biosynthesis, metabolism and/or action, resulting in a deviation from normal homeostatic control or reproduction. In actual work are presented arguments that the mechanisms of male and female reproduction system disrupting, cancer development and metabolism disorders and obesity, etc. The results obtained reflect the need to undertake the prompt measures to reduce environmental pollution and to protect human’s health and environment from the noxious action of endocrine-disrupting chemicals. |
