In this paper are presented results of the hygienic estimation of population health status in relation with the wide application of pesticides. The effects of this factor on the health differ depending on the particularities of the toxicological properties of used formula, the duration of exposure and incorporation pathways. In this context the general morbidity may be considered as one of the indicators of the agrochemicals impact on human health. The results prove that in the period included in the study the prevalence of chronic diseases is high. This can be a consequence of the reduction of the body’s natural resistance and developing the acute form in chronic ones. This imposes necessity to undertake measures geared towards the protection of the health of the population.

В статье представлены результаты исследования, касающиеся гигиенической оценки состояния здоровья населения в условиях широкого применения пестицидов. Воздействие данного фактора на здоровье зависит от токсикологических характеристик используемых препаратов, путей проникновения в организм и продолжительности воздействия. В данном контексте, одним из показателей воздействия агрохимикатов на здоровье населения может служить общая заболеваемость. Полученные результаты свидетельствуют о том, что распространенность хронических заболеваний высока. Это может быть следствием угнетения естественной сопротивляемости организма, способствующим переходу острых заболеваний в хронические формы, что указывает на необходимость проведения мер по снижению вредного воздействия химизации сельского хозяйства на здоровье населения.
