In this paper an analysis of the models for determination of coordinate transformation parameters for the territory of the Republic of Moldova is done between the national coordinate system MOLDREF99 and the old classical system SC42. It presents the principles of application of the Bursa – Wolf model and the Molodensky – Badekas model in the grid for a pilot area situated in the centre of the territory of our country. The evaluation of the determination precision of the cartesian geocentric coordinates by both transformation models was done by their analysis of the respective cartesian coordinates in the national coordinate register obtained from the measurements and their coordinates determined by the 2D transformation parameters currently used on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. The results of the analysis were tested on the pilot area, demonstrating that by applying the new method of determining the transformation parameters the coordinates of points with high precision of the centimeters would be obtained. |
