This article is the result of research on erodability of the ordinary chernozems in the estate Negrea, Hancesti district, Republic of Moldova. The purpose of this article it is to research territory of the estate Negrea in various classes with varying degrees of erodability (presented in accordance with N. Florea etc., 1987) and to elaborate the map of chernozem erodability [7, 8, 10]. A first step was the primary analysis of data obtained in the field, as well as their statistical processing. Erodability values of ordinary chernozems from estate Negrea were calculated based on their characteristic parameters influencing erosion, according to the formula proposed by P. Stanescu (quoted by Stanga I.C., 2005, p. 187). Erodability of soils was estimated by using analytical data regzrding humus content, clay content and bulk density of investigated soils [2, 3, 4, 12, 13]. It has been demonstrated that the high risk of erosion is induced by medium textures – in the horizon from the surface with a fine texture. We have established that erodability or soil vulnerability to erosion represents the susceptibility of eroded soils, usually expressed by the quantity of material removed from a certain soil surface, in certain conditions. The results of calculations of erodability of the ordinary chernozeoms in the estate Negrea were presented in Table 2 [2]. Generally, ordinary chernozeoms, with silty clay loam texture, sandy and low humus content are susceptible to erosion processes. The knowledge of erodability degree is necessary for agricultural activity of farmers. |
