Rezumat

Videogames are used as simple recreational activities for the most time, but they are not always so simple. They have a certain reason to exist. During the process of playing games, the competition, implied rules and the pleasure of entertainment place the player in a positive atmosphere. There are many studies which show that the virtual environment encourages the foreign language learning. Thus, we would like to emphasize that the activities within videogames help teacher to create a better process of teaching-learning. Taking into consideration the pedagogical aspects of the videogames, some authors considers very important to participate to the conception and to launch the new system (educational videogames in our case) before they will be institutionalized as supports for class of French as foreign language. GameSalad represents a platform of games’ development and an on-line community that allow the users to express and share their reflections regarding these interactive videogames. The software is designed not only for developers but also for teachers and students because it doesn’t require key/password. The system is used as a learning support by thousands of teachers around the world. The students with a low informational level can create interactive/interactional games for iOS, Android and HTML5 and share them within network/web. In this study we are going to analyze how this system improves the autonomy and independence of the learner of French as foreign language.
