Introduction: Alimentation is one of the factors who determining human health, she representing a mandatory condition for living beings. Objectives: The aim of this study was aspects of diet among pupils from high schools (7th - 12th classes), in the urban area from the Republic of Moldova. Methods and materials: Study achieved is descriptive, transversal population conducted with a sample of 1457 pupils of classes VII-XII of 6 high schools that teaching in Romanian and 6 with teaching in Russian in the cities of Chisinau and Balti, Moldova. Results: Pupils from high schools with teaching in Romanian do not feed the school canteen at a rate of 45.2% and those from high schools with teaching in Russian - 53.9% (statistically significant differences at p <0.001). The opinion that there is no need to dine at the school cafeteria have fewer pupils from high schools with teaching in Romanian (32.2%), compared to those pupils from high schools with teaching in Russian (50.3%), calculated differences are significant statistically p <0.001. Can not afford paying their own money a meal at the school canteen (in the amount of 7-10 MDL) 10.0% of pupils in high schools with teaching in Romanian and 17.9% pupils from high schools with teaching in Russian. They did not eat breakfast, the day preceding the questioning, of 19.2% pupils from high schools with teaching in Romanian and 14.4% pupils from high schools with teaching in Russian. Conclusion: Pupils from high schools with teaching in Romanian language is not fed to the school canteen to a lesser extent than those in high schools teaching in Russian. |
