In a broad sense, globalization of world economy can be defined as the highly dynamic process of the development of the interrelations of national states, due to the expansion and deepening of transnational linkages in broad and diverse areas of the economic, political, social and cultural life. The process of economic globalization implies that the issues are rather global than national, calling for a rather global than a national settlement. Globalization has become an objective, involving process, running at an ften dizzying speed, including the scope to almost all states of the world. We can compare globalization with gravity - a phenomenon that must be accepted as a "physical" one, that is pointless to be challenged or avoided; but one must necessarily understand it, both in terms of causes and effects, and use it without letting it destroy you. |
