In spite of stomach cancer morbidity decreasing last ten years, it remains high in East Europe countries. The main treatment method in these patients is surgical interventions. The nearest results of surgical treatment depend on general state of the patients. The main goal of the study was to estimate the influence of associated pathology on surgical treatment nearest results. The surgical treatment nearest results have been compared in two groups of stomach cancer patient: the first group consists of 271 patients without associated pathology of other systems, and the second group includes 105 patients with associated pathology of cardiovascular, respiratory systems and the liver. Postoperative complications have been registered in 6,6 and 10,5% of patients, the lethality index was 0,3 and 4,8% respectively. Obtained data permit us to conclude, that associated pathology of cardiovascular, respiratory systems and liver in stomach cancer patients influence negative on surgical treatment nearest results. |
