Rezumat

The oath is a social public act, representing a solemn pledge, usually expressed by a particular formula; someone undertakes to do its duty towards the country. As a social public act contains, in addition to outer expression, and undetectable mind's eye elements of researcher, bare right and necessary knowledge, skills and special abilities and psychological sciences to distinguish and appreciate, with measurements and recognized scientific indicators in the area, its hidden valences. Nowadays, in Republic of Moldova, make oath over than 20 categories of persons. They may have different functions or have a certain status, without ever holding function, although teachers are not from this category, in their role as actors of the educational system. In educational literature have expressed positive views to the necessity of taking the oath by teachers, educators, professors, etc.. Although it supports the view on the need for swearing by teachers, the author has debated the possibility of taking the oath by the persons concerned, since-and the position from different angles: the sociological, legal, psychosocial, etc.
