Rezumat | ||||||
The article reviews the associationist conceptions expressed by several philosophical doctrines of modernity, that have influenced the manner in which the image was treated in the analytic and synthetic psychology from mid- to late 19th century. These doctrines coincide with the principles of representationalism, a fact that allows us to formulate, based on the phenomenological method, a critique of these inadequate ways of approaching the image. |
