Rezumat

Empowering school children with associated disabilities is performed through occupational therapy. Occupational therapy offers effective ways of development for the school children with associated deficiencies based on new strategies designed with the core concept of „activity” or „occupation”. The starting point for occupational therapy is to make possible for school children with associated disabilities to participate in everyday life activities. Educational solutions empowering school children with associated deficiencies are found in the elaboration of an open child-centered curriculum, respecting the educational principles that ensure valuing of school children, provide them a feeling of usefulness and satisfaction with the work that is well done, optimism and self-confidence.
