As the differentiation of human sciences number of theoretical approaches to decision-making process has increased significantly. In this article we will consider only the theoretical approaches that seem most relevant to study. App-roach to the problem of political decision-making process also includes questi-ons of leadership skills, goal-setting, questions of human interaction and influe-nce of scientific and technological progress. Each of the various theories has its advantages, but the final analysis is not always successful in explaining the effe-ctiveness or ineffectiveness of decisions. The main approaches to decision-ma-king process can be divided into general and situational approaches. Universal approaches sets to find the most efficient style of management, as the amount of system features and behavior statements. Situational stress the lack of recipes suitable for any situation, so effective political decision-making process is rega-rded as a set of situational factors.
