Rezumat

Security as a phenomenon has always been one of the most discussed to-pics in international relations theory in terms of the importance of the issues that it addresses. Thus, as long as there is a misconception system of internati-onal relations to the surrounding world, where force, ensuring self-interest at the expense of others, aspirations and monopolization of power control is prac-tice and standards of behavior will remain current issues such as safety and peace, war and continuing to minimize their means and the presence of risks, threats and vulnerabilities to security. Next we intend to present some of the most important theoretical and conceptual approaches to international security issues in general, and national security in particular. The research of multiple contradictions theoretical concept of security is vague and imprecise sense, most being used as a justification or excuse for decisions or actions disturbing effects regionally or internationally. In this respect, it is necessary to make a clarification of the term "security" in general, with all the details and derivati-ves that we can understand what involves "national security", in particular, with all its features distinct place and role its in international relations.
