<description xml:lang='en' descriptionType='Abstract'>The aim of the research is to elucidate the electoral contestants’ vision regarding to the territorial organisation of public power in Republic of Moldova. Based on the content of election platforms of participants in parliamentary elections from 2014 were highlighted the visions and their approaches in terms of perception, understanding and attitude regarding to the mode of territorial organization of public power. There were studied the election platforms of the parties which pass the election threshold of 6 %.  The political parties involved in election campaign were concerned about geostrategic vector of development. The election platforms were full of populist promises as well as in other parliamentary elections.  Although, some political parties defined themselves as pro-European parties, it would be logical to include in election platforms the accession to the European standards in terms of local democracy strengthening, this subject was not elucidated even tangentially. Hence we deduce that the Soviet origin issue of the territorial-administrative delimitation and the affirmation of local autonomy will not be a priority for the new government. It will be impossible to achieve and another objectives of the European way without the accession to the local democracy standards adopted by the European Union</description>
