The article reveals the main provisions of Welfare economics theory in retrospect. Recommendations of the Stiglitz Commission for measurement of economic performance and social progress are analyzed in terms of determining the level of Welfare of Society. The authors summarize the problems and solutions regarding the evaluation of Welfare of Nation in terms of the territorial distribution of the population (rural and urban) to provide an equivalent of expanded reproduction of human capital and the full development of the individual, taking into account the social aspects. |
