In the field of aesthetics, especially in the realm of literature science, the term chronotope was implemented due to the contribution of Mikhail Mikhailovich Bakhtin, the philosopher and philologist from Russia. In the context of bahtiniene theory, space-time unity parameters get specific connotations. The purpose of the article is to reveal dialogue philosophy promoted by Bakhtin and to determine the valencies that chronotop entity gets in the polyphonic system. Based on the principle of dialogism, Bakhtin develops dialogic version of ethics, aesthetics, philosophy of language, anthropology, hermeneutics, etc.. Artistic chronotope as a dialogical creature is an imaginative locus in quo in the work of art. Size of the chronotope in literature and art, in general, has an emotional coloring-value and contributes to opening the semantic spheres.
