Rezumat

The article deals with various tendencies taking place in the process of transformation of the political regime in Ukraine, their manifestations are characterized and defined. The analysis of the impact of this process on the course of transitivity has been conducted. The result of this influence on the following transformation of the current political regime has been revealed. The notion of transformation in the context of the transitional period in post Soviet space has been specified. The transformation has been defined as a self-regulating, self-correcting process, free from a more rigid conceptual determination, which is characteristic for the projects of political modernization. The democratic transit is shown as a type of political transformation which is characterized first of all by its institutional direction because its main aim is institutional scrapping and the development of new democratic institutions without going beyond the existing legal framework. It covers the full range of public relations, namely: politics, economy, social structure, culture and spiritual sphere. One of the essential characteristics of the political transit is its temporal dimension. In this capacity, the transit is a fuzzy period of time that elapses between the fall of the regime and the time when the levers of power become completely controllable. It is indicated that the transformation of totalitarianism in the context of political transition takes the following configuration: 1). the combination for a relatively long period of time of an authoritarian regime and the weak, “imaginary”, democracy; 2). gradual establishment of proto democratic social order; 3). open dictatorship and the transition to neo totalitarianism. It is emphasized that transit to democracy in Ukrainian society should be analyzed from the perspective of the existence of certain structures of democratic reforms: the formation of political democracy, market economy, a national statehood and the formation of a political nation. Periodization of transitivity in Ukraine is made. It is shown that in Ukraine since the mid-90s of the twentieth century the vector of the political transition shaped the facade of the political system with a “hybrid” political regime. The content of transit is functionally determined by the regime power, which continues to maintain neo totalitarian - patrimonial features.
