| Rezumat | ||||||
The present paper considers an informational model of science as a powerful tool to determine quantitative indicators of the relationships between science and other areas of the socio-economic standard of a society.
The findings of the scientometric analysis of the development of science in more than 50 countries (30 leaders in science and 20 East-Europeans) allow revealing the correlation between the level of the scientific (informational) development of a society and its socio-economic standard.
It is demonstrated that Moldova is among the countries with the mid-level of both the scientific and socio-economic development. The data on different countries, such as the USA, EU members, Republic of Moldova, and others have been used to reveal the role of the funding of science in the development of
the socio-economic standard of a nation. |
