Present article aims to demonstrate ways of translating English complex nominal phrases in Romanian based on a corpus of texts from the field of economics as well as a highlight the difficulties of translation, types of nominal phrases constituents that determine analogies and differences of terms in the source language and their counterparts in target language. Four structures of English economic terms with the highest frequency, which occupies 40% of the massif researched and translated texts were identified. Lack of translation rules and even the translation of such terms caused their inclusion in a microglossary for the specialists in this field of science who do not possess English.
