Rezumat

The emerging markets are represented by countries with social or commercial activity that is involved in a rapid economic growth and industrialization process. The even greater importance of the emerging market economies and of the developing countries (“emerging economies”) is striking from a demographic and also from an economical point of view as well as on a macroeconomic and a microeconomic plan. Over 80% of the world’s population lives in the emerging economies. Moreover, taking into account the important current economic changes, a greater number of emerging companies deal with an alert urbanization rhythm and massive migrations from rural areas to cities. One must say that Brazil, Russia, India and China represent the world’s largest emerging economies, forming the so-called group BRIC. Not far from them there are Mexico, South Korea and Indonesia, all of them being among the world’s first 15 economies. At a time when Europe and the United States of America have increasingly greater financial problems, we can expect that the world order, should change very soon, at least from an economic point of view, even in the coming years.
