The article presents the test data of the dissertation “The Formation of Modern Student‟s Self-esteem.” On the basis of qualitative and quantitative analysis of the results it is presented the interaction between the levels of self-esteem and motivation to succeed. High self-esteem motivates students to work, when low self-esteem can reduce their need to achieve. And vice versa, the dominance of failure‟s avoiding motive causes the reduction of self-esteem and belief in their ability and potential.

În acest articol sânt prezentate rezultatele experimentale privind formarea stimei de sine la studenţi. Analiza rezultatelor reflectă legătura dintre nivelul autostimei şi motivarea obţinerii succesului. Nivelul înalt al stimei de sine îl motivează pe om să activeze, iar nivelul scăzut poate reduce motivaţia de obţinere a succesului. Predominarea motivului de a evita eşecurile duce la scăderea autostimei, credinţei în propriul potenţial.
