Rezumat

In this scientific work, for the first time in Moldova, the deprivation approach for the estimation of poverty and social safety is explained. The signs of deprivation of safety among which the central place is occupied the indicators of deprivation of food are defined. The choice of two indicators of deprivation of food is proved: deprivation of consumption of meat and meat products, and also fish and fish products; financial difficulties at purchase in sufficient volume of a foodstuff.
