Rezumat

There were studied various traditional and perspective structures of apple tree plantations, such as: solitary with the tree crown in a vertical plan and trees trained to the slender spindle and espalier systems, solitary with the tree crown in two oblique plans (V system) trained to Tatura and espalier systems; double or 4 row planting system with trees trained to the slender spindle system, and compact with trees trained to the slender spindle system. After that, there have been studied various tree crown forms: espalier, slender spindle, Tatura, Ypsilon, double Y and different methods to plant the trees in relation to the axis of the row and canopy in relation to space in order to determine how to set up the oblique plans and solitary structure of plantation. It was established that the main role in the efficient use of solar energy and respectively in the increased productivity of apple tree plantations is given to the method of placing the vegetative macrostructure in space. Tree crown training in two oblique plans produced the highest yields of fruits. For the establishment of apple tree plantations with the canopy in two plans the trees must be placed on the row axis and each second tree should be tilted in opposite directions in between rows at an angle of 75-80° from the horizontal
