Power and politics – two social phenomena that are in a relationship of de-pendence, the power produces politics and the political mechanisms turn into the display of power. How the policy production and the power reproduction are implemented depends largely on the culture of power. In our opinion, the national power is likely to show a high degree of culture provided that it overcomes the trend of total negation of the past, through the awareness of historical continuity; the restoration of a genuine dialogue betwe-en the generations; overcoming the tendency to consecutive alternation of re-form and subsequent counter-reforms; there is task imposed to seek an effective governance formula acceptable by the entire society; developing the culture of dialogue and negotiations – the only civilized conflict resolution mechanism.
