Rezumat

In a society the political behavior is a true "barometer" of the political life, being a transposition in practice of the political values, of the political conscie-nce and of the rules that regulate the political activity. The most important qua-lities of the political actor of the transition, that make up the core of its political subjectivity and largely determine the nature of his conduct are: political ratio-nality, political realism, the actual capacity of political actors to play political roles, responsibility and political creativity and humanism. Political man of the transition perceives and applies the quote "the end justifies the means" in terms of personal interests, personal advantages, which are a priority for him, social interest being only an argument of his actions. Machiavellian politician is one who doesn't know what the honor of the given word signifies. In post-soviet man case, we identify differences in ways of thinking, as well as in modes of behavior (at one and the same subjects). The policy responds to a social life need and po-litical human’s innate sociability forces him to assume responsibility for the de-stiny of society. But it may happen that the politician to be not always a moral man, but he may have brilliant strategic skills. Reality requires that politicians to show as few as negative qualities in their political behavior, and the negative ones they already have, to have as little influence on their activity.
