On a retrospective insight into the period between 1965 and 1991 may be stated the fact that the old ruling power of PCM (Moldavian communist party)initiated, at the words of the Kremlin, a partial and controlled retribution of Stalin’s personality cult, for keeping untouched and unmodified the Marxist-Leninist essence of the regime. Further, this process limited by destalinization was papered over, so that it had been continued with a new force in the years of perestroika of Mihail Gorbaciov, on the bar this time being PCUS itself and its remark from the soviet Moldova, PCM. Gradually, after discovering the most tragic and dramatic pages of the historical past, the ruling authorities of the suzerain Republic of Moldova labeled the crimes against humanity of the Stalinist period, the society being more and more aware of the inhuman and condemned essence of the old communist regime, overall.
