Essential arterial hypertension is a multifactorial disease that is the result of the interaction of genetic and environmental factor. Studying of molecular- genetic markers is advisable in childhood, because with age the values of the arterial tension are influenced by the environmental factors. But at the same time determination of the molecular-genetic markers can help us detect the children with high risks of arterial hypertension development and as a consequence possible complications. Effective prophylaxis on the early stage of the disease in comparison with the treatment of the formed pathology will have higher medical and social-economic effect. This article emphasis the role of the genetic factor in initial arterial hypertension at children basing on
the accessible sources, focusing on the hereditary anamnesis and genetic polymorphism of the renin angiotensin aldosterone system and NOS endothelial synthase. In spite of the fact that in therapeutic literature dedicated to adults studying special attention is paid to genetic polymorphism of Initial arterial
hypertension, in paediatrics there is a relatively small amount of investigations (more over they include a limited number of children) which examined the contribution of the genes to the phenotype of the arterial hypertension at children. They are often contradicting. |
