Matcovschi’s publicism marks the period in which the uproar of the truth fulfiled a vital condition for the society’s revival. Therefore it illustrates the rhetoric and gnomic paradigm (sententious, moral) of the genre, with all the dominant persuasive stakes of communication.The willingness to tell the truth forms the theoretical scaffolding (base) of his work, to which the discursive strategies are subjected. Repetitions, enumerations, anaphors and rhymes are sources of rhythm, euphony and persuasion techniques which are being required by serious, immediate assertion,
deliberately sensitizing. Through the importance of the approached subjects and the variety of the discursive strategies, Dumitru Matcovschi’s publicism overcomes the traditional phase and has
resonance in time. |
