Rezumat

The present article represents a research of political transition of Republic of Moldova comparable to the classic models of transition to democracy. Although there does not exist a paradigm of transition which could offer an universal model characteristic to all the states of the third wave of democratization, the author propose a synthetic model of transition to democracy that one can correlate to realities of Moldova. Analyzing the specific of democratic transformations from Moldova comparing with the classical models, the author infers that in order to pass to the liberal democracy, the Moldovan political system have to satisfy the following demands: the transparency of all the social spheres as far as transparency of the activity of all the political forces; Moldovan political system needs a reciprocal horizontal responsibility of executive organs; Moldovan political system should promote a constantly development, progress of political and civic pluralism, also of individual and group liberties. As result, the conclusion is that at the moment in the process of transformation of Moldovan society the following tendencies should prevail: adoption of concrete decisions in order to institutionalize the fundamental mechanisms of democracy; the liberalization of the most important social spheres, first of all the economic sphere; successful implementation of electoral democracy mechanisms.
