The article is devoted to the application of the psychological assistance methods and art therapy techniques as one of the effective directions of the existential humanitarian approach. The ecological compatibility of the art therapy methods is confirmed by the practice of work with children and teenagers, who have emotional and behavioral disorders. The attention is paid to the fact that the art therapy in view of the modern person using mainly the verbal channel of communication enables to use “the language” of visual and plastic expression.
