Background. A method for evaluating the anatomical substrate of the bronchopulmonary system is considered computed tomography (CT). Objective of the study. To evaluate CT imaging changes in bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) in premature babies hospitalized in BMI Pulmonology. Material and Methods. The prospective clinical trial evaluated CT imaging changes in 86 children who had a positive history of preterm birth and oxygen therapy for postpartum respiratory distress syndrome. The basic group created from 49 children with DBP and the control group - 37 children without DBP. The CT scan was performed with the Aquilion Prime 80-slice CT scanner (Toshiba). Statistical data was processed by Epi Info, Microsoft Excel. Results. Pulmonary changes on CT are confirmed by: air bubbles in 18 children base batch vs 8 children (control batch), (χ2 = 2.48, p > 0.05); tractional bronchiectasis in 5 children base group vs 2 children, (χ2 = 0.65, p>0.05); accentuated lung drawing in 25 children basic group vs 12 children, (χ2 = 2.97, p > 0.05); pleuro-pulmonary adhesion in 27 children vs 14 children (χ2 = 2.52, p > 0.05); linear reticular opacity in 34 children base batch vs 15 children, (χ2 = 5.9, p < 0.01); “matte glass” opacities in 42 children base batch vs 19 children, (χ2 = 13.5, p < 0.001); mosaic attenuation in 26 children base batch vs 15 children, (χ2 = 1.33, p > 0.05); hyperinflation in 23 children base group vs 15 children, (χ2 = 0.35, p > 0.05); atelectatic infiltrative areas in 38 children base batch vs 15 children, (χ2 = 3.9, p < 0.05). Conclusions. DBP in premature infants with a history of oxygen therapy is manifested by imaging by respiratory syndromes of chronic lung disease. |
