Nowadays, ESP stands alone as an independent discipline from English Language Teaching (ELT) and it shapes its own aspects, which differs in methodology and used materials. This article introduces some theoretical background concerning ESP, as well as mentions the characteristic features closely connected with process of ESP learning. A special attention is drawn to the management of ESP course and the criteria of selecting specialized materials as important factors ensuring satisfactory results at the end of each course. The ESP and specifically EMP curriculum is aimed at providing students with proper work-related skills in order to understand and communicate within their future professional community. |

O atenție deosebită se acordă managementului cursului ESP și criteriilor de selectare a materialelor de specialitate ca factori importanți care asigură rezultate satisfăcătoare la sfârșitul fiecărui curs.
