Rezumat | ||||||
“Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”, according to Brundtland Commission, 1987. Sustainable development is based on the three pillars of sustainability: economic, environmental and social sustainability and education is a link between them and develops new visions about global issues, shaping attitudes, desirable behaviors and skills needed to achieve sustainable development goals. Education for Sustainable Development includes several interesting and innovative methodological approaches, based on active participation and learning by experience (among these and the method of learning through objects). The paper presents examples of possible activities in nature, which involve learning through objects presented by activities related to the study of protected natural areas. |
