Rezumat

Scientific interest in the field of herbs aromatic and herbs medicinal is on the rise. The initiation and widening of the areas occupied with these species requires qualitative planting material. The Republic of Moldova is positioned in the climate zone with an unstable degree of humidity. The pedoclimatic conditions of the last decade with prolonged periods of drought, influence the water reserves in the soil. Initiating plantations by sowing some plant species directly in the field becomes a problem. That is why we set out to make the planting material more efficient by applying Agryl foil (Agreen professional 19 g / m2). The study included Lavandula angustifolia Mill, Satureja montana L., Passiflora incarnata L. Sowing was done in the spring, in the first emergency, being covered with Agryl. This creates optimal germination conditions in the field, contributing to the economical use of soil moisture and ensuring the later development of seedlings. As a result, when harvesting mountain thyme under Agryl, it achieved a success rate of 203% compared to the control without cover; Lavandula angustifolia Mill under Agryl - success was 186% and in Passiflora incarnata L. the control was exceeded by 157%. The use of Agryl foil conditioned a higher density of plants throughout the development cycle and ensured a higher number of seedlings. According to the values of the biomorphological indices, the thyme and lavender seedling falls within the requirements of the STAS.
