| Rezumat | ||||||
The present article aims, albeit not exhaustively, at clarifying some particular international events which, in the author’s opinion, have triggered unfortunate actions with certain grave effects upon the Romanian territorial integrity, a situation that is reverberated to the present day. The chronological period upon which the article is focused, begins from the dismantling of Czechoslovakia to the very time when the soviet ultimatum had been brutally imposed upon the Romanian people, in view of explaining why resistance, contemplated irrevocably by the Romanian government in December 1939 although, failed to be applied when finally that prefigured situation had emerged on June 26, 1940. |
