The literary character is a presence through which the writer indirectly expresses his conceptions, representations, ideas in the epic or dramatic work. As the main narrative instance, the character is an essential element in the structure of the epic or dramatic text. Representing artistically transfigured people, beings imagined by the writer, who become actors in the events narrated or presented as stage actions. |
