Rezumat

The international migration has an impact on the European Union and the EU member states. The phenomenon of globalization as well as the various events on the international arena have contributed to the increase of the migratory flows, especially in recent years. Thus, the European space is developing its multi-ethnic and cultural diversity. In this context, the EU propose a global European policy aimed at facing the challenges of migration. The European policy is built on the European traditions of granting asylum and migration, taking into accounts both human rights observance and humanitarian aspects, and the benefits of the European Union, of the migrants and their countries of origin. Migrants integration into European society aims at harmonizing their rights and the culture of the country of origin. This benefits both the country of origin of the migrant and the society in which he / she lives and works.
