Preliminary issues in prison world and problems of custodial sentence. In the present article we try to present some aspects related with custodial sentence and social reintegration of inmates, being well known the fact that any society is judging the behavior of its members not necessarily from the point of view of inner motivations, but mostly from the point of view of conformance to standards. Everywhere possible sanctions and measures implemented in society should be used before imprisonment. It was found that when imprisonment is used, special problems may occur. It's a complex situation, with broad resonance in the life of the individual. For the person serving a sentence of imprisonment, prison environment tidy two groups of problems: adapting to the norms and values specific to this lifestyle, the further development of his personality. Severe restriction of personal freedom, lack of information, authoritarian regime, monotonous work in closed environment are issues which the prisoners felt as violations of its integrity as a human being. To understand this better, we need to analyze the group of people deprived of their liberty. Life in prison is a hard life. Here is canceled any kind of intimacy, everything is in sight for others. Therefore many issues related with this topic will be analyzed and synthesized in later on presentation of this article.
