In this article are mentioned the consequences of abuse to the child’s personality. There are mentioned a few types of child abuses, and the particularities of the parent’s personality and family relationship as a factor that stimulates child abuse. The authors used projective methods of research on the influences of abuse to the personality of the child, because they can destroy the defensive mechanisms in the process of studying the children. The results of the research describe the emotional, personal consequence of child abuse. The results have given us possibility to affirm that violence is a factor that contributes to the apparition of emotional disorders,. The most destructive abuse to the personality of the child is sexual abuse.
