The present paper presents a very challenging test, offering examples and interpretations. The Star-Wave test proves to be one of the most useful psychological instruments among paper and pencil tests. Created initially, as a projective test, it was further developed as a screening test for evaluation of school readiness in preschool children. Easy to use, the SWT can identify a large variety of emotional movements that otherwise might pass unperceived.
