This article contains an analysis of the historical evolution of social assistance in Moldova in the period of the XIX-XX centuries, namely: the domination period of the Russian Empire; the interwar period; the period of the socialist regime; the period of the existence of the Republic of Moldova as a sovereign and independent state. In this context, the most important measures/ activities and documents were identified that formed the basis for the emergence, establishment of social assistance and formed the premises for the development of this institution. |
