In this study we aim to review the research history of the Horodiștea-Gordinești type sites in the Prut-Dniester interfluve. After detailed analysis of all data collected from the excavation reports, the repertories of the archaeological monuments from the Republic of Moldova, elaborated by districts (1993 and partly 2006) as well as by articles, was delimited three stages in the research of these sites: 1 – period between 20s-50s years; 2 – include the period from the end of 50s to the 80s years of the last centuries; 3 – covers the period from 90s to the present. Each stage is presented starting from the character of the discoveries as well as by year when it was detected. Along of this, the article also addresses the historiography of studying these sites. The accumulated materials served as a basis for the elaboration of several studies and thematic monographs, in which the specialists tried to answer some questions that arose in the work processes. Among the most discussed issues we mention: the spread area and types of settlements; the type of dwellings and production complexes; periodization; cultural interference with other communities. From the historiographical analysis of the topic approached by us, we believe that there are still enough essential aspects that define the HorodișteaGordinești cultural group, the decipherment of which is still waiting to be solved.

În acest articol ne propunem să trecem în revistă istoricul cercetării siturilor de tip Horodiștea-Gordinești din interfluviul Prut-Nistru. După o analiză detaliată a tuturor surselor colectate din rapoartele de săpătură, repertoriile monumentelor arheologice din Republica Moldova, elaborate pe raioane (1993 și parțial 2006), cât și din diverse articole, au fost delimitate trei etape în cercetarea acestor situri: 1 – anii ’20-’50; 2 – cuprinde intervalul de la sfârșitul anilor ’50 până în anii ’80 ai secolului trecut; 3 – cuprinde perioada dintre anii ’90 şi până în prezent. Fiecare etapă este prezentată pornind atât de la caracterul descoperirilor, cât şi pe ani. De rând cu aceasta, în articol este abordată și istoriografia problemelor apărute în procesul studierii acestor situri. Materialul acumulat pe parcursul celor trei etape de studiere a vestigiilor de tip Horodiștea-Gordineşti a servit drept bază pentru elaborarea unor studii şi monografii tematice, în care specialiştii au încercat să răspundă unor întrebări survenite în procesul de lucru. Printre cele mai discutate probleme amintim: arealul de răspăndire şi tipurile de aşezări; tipul complexelor de locuit şi de producere; periodizarea; interferenţe culturale cu alte comunități. Din analiza istoriografică a temei abordate de noi, credem că se mai menţin suficiente aspecte esenţiale ce definesc grupul cultural Horodiștea-Gordineşti ale căror descifrare încă îşi aşteaptă rezolvarea.

В данной статье мы намерены рассматривать историю изучения памятников Хородиштя-Гординештского типа из Пруто-Днестровского междуречия. После детального анализа всех накомленых данных собраных из отчетов, регистров археологически памятников Республики Молдова, разработанных по районам (1993 и частично 2006), а тагже из многочисленных статей, было выделено три этапа исследования даннового типа памятников: 1 – промежуток мужду 20-х-50-х годов; 2 – охватывает интервал от конца 50-х до 80-х годов прошлого столетья; 3 – охватывает промежуток от начала 90-х годов и сегодняшних дней. Все этапы преставлены начиная с характера исследуемова материала так и по годам открытия памятника. Наряду с этим, в статье также рассматривается историография проблем вознихших при изучение данного типа памятников. Материалы собраны в течение трех выделенных етапов послужили основой для написание статей и тематических монографий, в которых специалисты попытались ответить на разного рода вопросы, возникшие в процессе работы. Среди найболее обсуждаемых проблем были: ареал распространения и тип поселения; типы жилишь и пройзвоственных комплексов; периодизация; культурные контакты с другими сообоществами. Иходя из историографического анализа затронутой нами темы, полагаем, что есть еще достаточно существенных аспектов которые определяют культурную гуппу Хородиштя-Гординешть, расшифровки которой все еще ждут своего решения.
