The automotive industry plays undoubtedly an important role in the world economy. The Ukrainian automotive industry has continued the engineering tradition and has been able to transform itself in the conditions of the modern competitive environment. However, all the automotive units produced in Ukraine end up directly on the Ukrainian market, and therefore a large share of these goods is necessary to import in order to fully meet the internal market requirements. An important factor for the understanding of the functioning of the automotive market in Ukraine, in addition to the introduction of basic plants for the production of the cars, is also the understanding of the automotive clusters as well as the identification of an ingenious system of the industrial suppliers. The analysis of the foreign trade of the car manufacturers, thanks to which we can take a deeper look into the issue and analyze the internal models of the national economy, is essential too. Ukraine, due to its geographical proximity to the EU as well as its government's political direction and general attitude, offers the great opportunities for the European companies including those from Slovakia.

Автомобильная промышленность и автомобилестроение играет важную роль в мировой экономике. Украинская автопромышленность продолжила инженерные традиции и смогла трансформироваться в условиях современной конкурентной среды. Все автомобильные агрегаты, производимые в Украине, попадают непосредственно на украинский рынок, и поэтому для полного удовлетворения домашнего спроса необходимо импортировать значительную долю этих товаров из зарубежья. Важным фактором для понимания функционирования автомобильного рынка в Украине является, помимо списка базовых заводов по производству автомобилей, также перечень автомобильных кластеров или определение остроумной системы промышленных поставщиков. Не менее важен анализ внешней торговли автомобилями, благодаря которому мы можем глубже изучить проблему и проанализировать внутренние модели национальной экономики в этом сегменте. Украина, благодаря не только своей географической близости к ЕС, но теперь, в основном, и политическому направлению правительственных органов, предлагает большие возможности для европейских и мировых компаний включая словацких.

Industria auto ucraineană a continuat tradiția inginerească și a reușit să se transforme în condițiile mediului concurențial modern. Cu toate acestea, toate unitățile auto produse în Ucraina ajung direct pe piața ucraineană și, prin urmare, o mare parte din aceste bunuri este necesară pentru a importa pentru a satisface pe deplin cerințele pieței interne.
