The quality of local fruits, vegetables and berries have always been appreciated both in the country and abroad. In recent years there has been a trend of planting baciferous crops, but also to promote the consumption of berries. The expansion of the diversity of baciferous crops can be achieved by introducing new varieties of fruit bushes, one of which is Lycium barbarum L. (goji) - a functional food rich in antioxidants, vitamins and important minerals. The development of the berry sector in the Republic of Moldova generates a high demand for planting material, the quality of which also influences plant productivity. For the development and support of fruit bush nurseries, which sell valuable quality seedlings, a remedy would be to multiply the plants using various modern methods, especially in vitro culture, which ensures the production of healthy, disease-resistant plants with faster growth. than those obtained by conventional propagation methods. In this context, the purpose of the research consisted in the complex analysis, regarding the microclonal multiplication in the species Lycium barbarum L. with the application of the methods of micropropagation of the plants. Thus, four nutrient variants with concentrations were tested: (0,5 mg/l; 0,7 mg/l) BAP and KIN of each cytokinin. The influence of cytokinin BAP 0,5 mg/l resulted in an increased proliferation rate compared to cytokinin KIN in concentrations of 0,5 and 0,7 mg / l resulted in a lower multiplication rate. Seedling regeneration on BAP medium with 0,7 mg/l registered insignificant multiplication rates, vitrified and with callus formation at the base of seedlings. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that low concentrations of BAP cytokinin favor and stimulate seedling formation in goji varieties, which is a way to quickly obtain an increased number of minibuthas of genetic uniformity, multiplied by in vitro methods. The study found that BAP cytokinin supplementation in the Murashige-Skoog environment (1962) significantly influences shoot formation but inhibits root elongation. |
