Статья посвящена исследованию проблемы уголовно-правовой защиты чести и достоинства личности. Проанализировано состояние определения понятий «честь» и «достоинство» и необходимость криминализации отдельных видов преступлений в сфере защиты чести и достоинства лиц. Защита чести и достоинства сотрудника правоохранительного органа (полиции) лежит в прямой зависимости от уровня «нравственной культуры» общества. Пока не будет в государстве совершено надлежащей охраны чести и достоинства работника полиции, не будет и уважения и выполнения должным образом законных требований последнего. Осмысление своего достоинства находится в прямой зависимости от собственной оценки личных качеств и качеств, которые каждый полицейский должен в себе воспитывать, а понятие и ощущение чести, наоборот, происходит под влиянием общественного мнения, которая напрямую зависит от достоинства отдельно взятого работника правоохранительного органа.

Articolul este dedicat cercetării problemei protecției procesual-penale a onoarei și demnității coloboratorilor organelor de drept. Se analizează statutul defi nirii noțiunilor de „onoare” și „demnitate” și necesitatea de a încrimina anumite tipuri de infracțiuni în domeniul protecției onoarei și demnității persoanelor.

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of criminal law protection of honor and dignity of the individual. Th e state of defi nition of concepts of “honor” and “dignity” is analyzed and the necessity of criminalization of certain types of crimes in the sphere of protection of honor and dignity of individuals is analyzed. The protection of the honor and dignity of a law enforcement officer (police) lies in the direct dependence on the level of “moral culture” of society. Unless the proper protection of the honor and dignity of the police offi cer is carried out in the state, there will be no respect for and proper due diligence of the latter. The reflection of one’s dignity is directly dependent on the self-assessment of personal qualities and characteristics that every policeman has to educate in himself, and the concept and sense of honor, on the contrary, is infl uenced by public opinion, which directly depends on the dignity of a separate law enforcement officer.
