Introducere. În anul 2018, incidența globală a cazurilor de tumori hepatice a fost de 9,5 milioane bolnavi, ceea ce o clasează pe locul 6 după frecvența întâlnirii în patologia oncologică. Rata mortalitații cauzată de tumorile ficatului a fost de 781,631 mii (8,2%) dintr-un total de 9,5 milioane pacienți, astfel ea fiind a patra cauză majoră de deces în oncologie. Introduction. Worldwide, the incidence of liver tumors in 2018 was 9,5 billions cases, which makes it the 6th leading type of tumor occurring by frequency in oncology. Mortality rate caused by liver tumors was 781,631 deaths (8,2%) from a total of 9,5 billions patients, making it the 4th major cause of death in oncology. Objective of the study. Elucidation of the most specific and innovative diagnostic methods applied for the detection of liver tumors and characterization of the contemporary treatment methods used in their therapy. Material and methods. The statistical study has been achieved at the surgery no. 2 department, during the years 2016-2018. Data collection included in this study was performed by retrospective analysis of clinical observation sheets and data from official statistical reports. Results. From January 2016 to December 2018, 203 patients with liver tumors have participated in the study, 111 were women and 92 were male. There were 130 cases of malignant liver tumors and 73 patients with benign tumors. Hepatocellular carcinoma was the most common type of tumor in the study – 55 cases. Ultrasound examination was performed in 100% patients, with a specificity and sensitivity of 60-80%. There were performed 147 surgeries for different types of liver tumors. |
