Rezumat

Creativity is one of the most important human, social and educational values. The roll of creativity in culture and civilization process, is enormous, and in the contemporary school there is an vivid concern for educating creativity. For a long time, creativity was considered a divine grace that few people had. The conception according to which the talents and geniuses are born has been overcome. Creativity is seen today as the result of the interaction between the influence of the environment and the heredity, between learning, maturing and development. Creativity should not be seen as a necessary process only at adult or school age. The need to stimulate creativity must be made aware from the preschool stage, which ensures the prerequisites of successfully accessing the higher levels of life. Educators should try to adapt to the ideas of children without trying to structure their ideas if they do not match those of adults. The creative potential is latent in each child, and it can be developed under the influence of a stimulating socio-educational environment, responsible for stimulating the creativity of the preschool and school child being parents and teachers. Why is creativity needed? In order to be better, to realize and update, to be able to contribute actively to the modeling of the world. Creativity is characterized by novelty, originality, value, harmony, relevance. Creativity means boldness, as everything that is new is uncertain and non-conformist. In order to be able to advance into the unknown, the child must have that inner freedom, that sense of security, coming from his surrounding world. The lack of creativity, however, is due to an insufficient understanding of the phenomena, the lack of feeling of inner freedom or the lack of stability of the external conditions. The child is, by its very nature, creative due to his/her immense curiosity, the constant rattling to know everything that is going on around it. In the preschool period the imagination is expressed through everything the child does in kindergarten, in all his/her activities.
