The paper aims to deal with the current issue regarding ways of developing students' critical thinking and creativity from a comparative analysis approach of two educational paradigms which have the teacher and the student under the spotlight. The newness of this paper lies in adapting the modern guidelines to the particular teaching strategies so as to contribute to the behavioural change of the teacher and and therefore to the students. This approach may be a preamble to the continuous teachers training from this new perspective which is meant to lead to what reflective teacher should become, a teacher involved and anchored in the realities of the romanian education and in order to contribute to the training of students' personality through all types of formal, non-formal and informal education. The methology of continuous teaching formation implies a comparative approach of traditional strategies (advantages/disadvantages/limits) so as they may contribute to the acquirement of new skills which can be used in various educational contexts. The didactic approach should be designed in such ways so that the teacher may become a coordinator in a stimulating, interactive learning environment which would involve students in their own training /development. Modern education brings to the fore the interactivity and creativity among the educational actors in developing strategies that will lead to the development of active and creative attitude of the students. |
