The paper is devoted to the problem of increasing the adaptive capabilities and productive qualities in the highly performance animals under the influence of biologically active substances in the most critical periods of their life – after weaning from their mothers. It was found that the addition to standard diet of piglets for one month (from 10 to 40 days of age) humic additives in combination with formic acid results in the activation of anabolic processes, increasing energy and protein metabolism. An increase of total protein, glucose, alanine- and aspartate aminotransferases and alkaline phosphatase activities in the blood of experimental animals compared with control animals were observed. It was concluded that biologically active substances have a stimulating effect on metabolism of weaned piglets, caused an increase in the average daily weight gain and body weight by 9% and animal safety – 10% |
