Through distant hybridizations, biotechnological methods have created a collection of tomatoes with valuable quantitative characters for breeding. The variety is characterized by maximum photosynthetic activity, compared to the other genotypes analyzed. The structural features of these genotypes (increased number of secretory and tector hairs, presence of stomata and degree of octiole opening, especially on the adaxial epidermis of the leaf, thickness of the palisadic, spongy mesophile and the correlation between them) determine the histo-anatomical organization of the leaf with tolerance. Drought and have a significant contribution in establishing increased photosynthetic activity in the mentioned genotypes. Based on the data obtained, new sources with increased productivity and resistance were identified. |
